GAURAV (Greater Action for Unity Rights Advocacy and Visibility) in collaboration with MDACS (Mumbai District AIDS control Society) organized one day Consultation on January 24, 2017 for Reducing Stigma and Discrimination in educational institute with Young Gay and Transgender Community members. This consultation aims reducing stigma and discrimination with the help of state level stake holders and education authority. Different College teaching staff and students leader volunteers participated. Also with the effective panel discussion with our guests Harish Iyer (LGBT activist) ;Miss sima sayad mam (Astha Parivar ); Umesh sir ( MDACS) ; summit Pawar ; Navya & Umar . And interesting session conducted by Transgender Gauri Sawant on transgender student issue added more spice to the consultation meeting . The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Sachin katkar (joint director MDACS)
